Fashion – Gentle Monster (젠틀몬스터) Sunglasses

Gentle Monster (젠틀몬스터), a Korean brand which is more than an ONLY simply brand.

This post is exclusively about my beloved Korean sunglass and eyewear brand, Gentle Monster.

I have found this unique brand around two years ago and each sunglasses caught my eyes for the first time. Do you believe in love at first sight? If no, it means you don’t see Gentle Monster collections yet!

I’m not a sunglasses addicted girl, honestly, I have always said: “One is enough for the rest of my life.” And I know it’s really not fashionable, but… after my first rolling down and rolling up on Gentle Monster official website, I really wanted to get my hand on all of their sunglasses. My dream came true and finally, I bought my favorite one.

Gentle Monster is not a simply normal brand anymore, these days it’s most of the celebrity's first choice for sunglasses or eyewear. Not only in Korea or Asia area, but even in North America!! Ashley Benson, Kourtney Kardashian, Hillary Duff, Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Alba and many more celebrities are wearing Gentle Monster Korean brand sunglasses and it’s enough to say: “Gentle Monster is one of the most stylish and fashionable eyewear brands nowadays!”.

It’s not just about their products and unique collections, but I can talk about their unique store designs for a week!! Actually, their showrooms are not something like stores at all!! It’s some kind of art center and they are really one of a kind! Gentle Monster has 5 showrooms around Seoul in Shinsa-Dong (신사동), Garosugil (가로수길), Hongdae (홍대), Nonhyeon-Dong (논현동) and Gye-Dong (계동). More stores in Seoul are in department stores like Hyundai, Shinsegae and Lotte department stores. You can find their flagship in other cities such as Busan and newly open in Daegu.

Seoul’s Shinsa Garosugil (신사 가로수길) pop-up store Kitchen design is absolutely, incredibly amazing!

My favorite Gentle Monster showroom was their Shinsa Garosugil (신사 가로수길) flagship (It’s different with that Kitchen design pop-up store!). It was on 3 floors, and really, literally amazing floors! Their customer service was perfect and I could enjoy my time after my purchase in their café floor with a cup of coffee.
